Wow! Way to get after the trail while it was fresh out of the oven. And sorry for taking such a while to circle back. The reception has been pretty great. A lot of local press interest, which felt affirming. I hope you get to explore subsequent segments during these balmier spring weeks. Especially Section 4, given that it's pavement-heavy and will get toastier by July.
Yes! Having spent many rainy days reading maps instead of walking, I'm also concerned about Hot Pavement Season on section 4. I did section 2 a few weeks ago (ending at La Fonda St for tacos and tres leches) for logistical ease, but the weather and the orange line work have delayed me from 4. Hopefully this week!
